Hard to believe now, but there was a time when Pink was on a downswing as a recording artist. Following the success of her album Missundaztood, her third album Try This failed to capture radio attention and her single from the Charlie’s Angels soundtrack, “Feel Good Time,” went nowhere. But there was a gem from this era that I rarely hear anymore; “God is a DJ,” which plays during the Spring Fling preparation montage, is as fine and cool a party anthem as any other in that movie, and I would rank it alongside fellow soundtrack contributions like “Milkshake” and “Pass That Dutch.” High praise.
