It's a shame threads like this are getting closed. What happened to having a music discussion on ATRL?

I'm guessing we'll only be able to have positive discussions about your favorite #1 single or top 10 since even threads about your favorite Top 20, 30, & 40 song get closed too.

I presented all available options to anyone in the thread. There were both positive and negative choices.

We cannot discuss artists negatively anymore because the children (and the people that still act in such a manner that are not) will get too OFFENDED. And being offended is deemed as a bad thing, even though it leads to growth.

Let us only discuss top 10 singles, who wore it better, and potential single choices from now on apparently.

It is definitely a widespread issue on atrl, but a certain base has been notorious for it. It just so happens to be a base that I was once a member of also. The day to day minutiae of "life" on atrl has grown into a rather mundane trivial experience in which one essentially attempts to experience a bit of enjoyment (for which I presume this forum was initially created for) while avoiding the growing myriad of rules and restrictions being placed on members. It is interesting to draw parallels with nations and governments that have slowly but surely encroached upon the rights of their citizens with what is occurring here on atrl currently. It is quite humorous in fact because it almost exclusively ends in destruction. Hah.
