I don't ignore it sis. I would literally rather listen to the first two albums than the last two. Both filled with grooveable 80s bops. I know Janet Jackson gets a bit more appreciation than the regrettably scorned Dream Street, but they are both cute ass 80s pop albums. I've said it before: Pretty Boy was the early foreshadowing of the sultry teasing sexpot Janet that would come later. Plus her 15-17 year old vocals>>>>>her age-deepened vocals that forced her to sing a bit lower and earned her the unfortunate reputation of being a whisperer by people who can't differentiate between breathy vocals and whispers.

I agree. I love her early vocals. They're really strong. They were strong on Control and RN too.

I mean, I love her vocals on Janet. and TVR too, but the she really gave it her all in the 80's. I stan so much for Control vocals. Pleasure Principle live is also impressive, especially because she would be dancing.
