Wow, I'm really surprised by the album. I think it's a perfect mix of classic soul and contemporary RnB. It's probably gonna flop but Candice's voice is wonderful.
REALLY pleased with this album. it's solid from start to finish. Stand out tracks for me are:
Kiss Me
In The Middle
Die Without You
Passenger
Damn
Love Kiss Me though - those vocals, the production. Her voice is just stunning and they gave her great songs. It's like a mix of JHud and Dawn Richards. very solid, I really like it

Too bad this is only expected to do 17,000 in sales
Wait that's WORSE than Jessica!!!! And Jessica was runner up!
That says something about Kree's and Angie's sales, which will probably be (non existent).

Dude, Angie was able to chart MUCH higher than Candice...WITH A CHRISTMAS SONG. She could easily outsell her if she promoted.
Candice Glover’s "Music Speaks" sold just 19K copies in its first week. That's the lowest first-week sales tally for the debut album by an "American Idol" winner in the show's 12-year history. The old record was set in 2010 when Lee DeWyze's "Live It Up" sold 39K copies in its first week. "Music Speaks" enters The Billboard 200 at #14. That's a bit higher than "Live It Up," which debuted and peaked at #19.
