YG would only look like "even more" of a tool if he changed the date again.
If the YG fans were feeling themselves more right now (which they aren't), they're probably say something like SM is afraid (which we're not saying). But I guess we know who's winning in the court of public opinion...

SM is certainly not afraid, they're just fooling around at this point. I don't believe for a second that the MV was "damaged" I am worried for this mini I don't want it sitting in the SM offices only for them to say "You know what? let's switch some tracks around" or some other mess.

I want 2NE1 to release, this delay better not mess with that.

Yeah, I just want my girls to do well with Crush. They've been waiting as long as we have been to get this album out and I'm just annoyed that YG wanted to use their comeback hype to unnecessarily pit them against another girl group.
It's such a tacky move, considering all the trouble they've had getting this release (and countless other scheduled/delayed YG releases) out the door these past few years.

SNSD delayed their comeback, so of course YG will as well. He'll delay 2NE1 until SNSD finally get their MV together. But, of course, when a meteorite inevitably comes out of nowhere, as SM's representatives will later report, and crushes the 30x30ft titanium box (previously a bomb shelter used during the Korean War) that SM shoots all their acts' MVs in, YG will be forced to delay 2NE1 again.
They cannot comeback.
Not until a worthy opponent appears. SM cannot allow SNSD to touch the charts until they are sure 2NE1 are nothing to fear, but YG will never let go of his super gay fantasies of a girl group themed World War Z.
SNSD and 2NE1 will never come back. They will delay into 2015, each waiting for the other, past Christmas, into New Year's, delay until every other Hallyu group has already gracefully disbanded, delay until the Koreas are eventually reunited, delay until ARTPOP vol. II is released. Delay until the sun eventually swallows the Earth and the people of our species are forced to terraform and colonize the nearby planets.
10,000 years delay.
One day, when YG finally lays on his deathbed, wheezing from the effort of taking his final breaths, Park Bom's great-great-granddaughter will wheel her ancestor in (think The Face of Boe) to share fond memories and finally say goodbye to her old boss. "Sajangnim," her computerized vocal chords croak, "whatever did happen to that album of ours? Can we finally put it out now, for old time's sake?" YG raises his tired head one last time, beckoning Bom to come closer.
"I....I..."
"Yes, sajangnim?"
"I...sold it...to Cash Money," he croaks, before his eyes flutter shut for the last time.
Elsewhere, Lee Soo Man model MXII watches the scene unfold from his throne room, where the physically unchanged members of Gynoids' Generation are attending to his every need.
"Soon, my SNSDroids," he whispers, "Soon."

Wait, this scares me the most though. It's dangerous for their mini to be under SM's care for too long without being released, they'll inevitably start changing things. SM need to put it out so they can't take it back before it's too late.
-
Wouldn't SM announce it if it was formally delayed? Or do they not bother with technicalities like that?
