Tbh. I'm surprised that ATRL has a problem with the tutu stuff given that most of are fem queens and appreciated or would have appreciated it if their parents was supportive of them taking ballet classes and whatnot. I don't have a problem with letting your child do what he enjoys (to an extent). For me, the problem lies in that they are not imposing an assertive cisgendered reality on the child. They are not gonna call him, he or she until he is old enough to decide. And that is going to heighten his chances of gender disphoria.

he seems happy enough playing with both, its not like you force your child to play with toys they don't want to. When hes older he might find this a bit embarrassing though.

The whole point of being a parent is moulding your child's mind and there is nothing wrong with that. If you put your child in a tutu and don't tell him his gender, chances are he's going to identify with the opposite gender. And then the complications will arise.

Thats not true. You can be androgynous which actually makes a healthier happier individual. You don't always have the be on the two extreme ends of the gender role.

I don't see the issue here, like they said, they're not restricting him by gender boundaries. If he wanted to wear a tutu, they're not going to stop him.
They're not forcing him to do anything. They're letting him live free and experiment on his own. ATRL stays judging as usual.

In that case I'm gonna go use the ladies room tomorrow, you know since gender roles in society requires males and females to have bowel movements seperately, and **** gender roles.

And by all means list these so called "reasons" why gender roles are bad. And while youre at it tell me how a gender less society will somehow fix this.

First off let me say that I'm not advocating for a genderless society. I'm saying this rigid attitude of that we must be placed in solely in one gender is stupid Who's the one who even created this?

Anyways one example of why gender roles are bad is seen with girls. Look at their toys compared to regular "boy" toys. Some are kitchen household play items, so one must ask themselves what is the message being sent here? These toys are often targeted more at girls as well.

You're taking this way too literally. Wearing woman clothing is not even what I'm talking about What I am talking about is what makes up the personality of each gender. For guys we have to be all masculine and tough and "be a man". We have to grow some "balls" and crying is not acceptable because its wimpy. For girls you have to be all pretty, wear make up and you're expected to know how to do the household tasks even if you have a job. Clothing does not have much to do with what I'm talking about and its rather more on how we are suppose to act. Its been shown that boys who are overly masculine leads them to delinquency and other issues like being sexist. The same can be said for girls who are too feminine.

What I am saying is that being too lopsided onto one gender is not super good while being a mixture is better. You can disagree with this and be all the masculine guy you want to be if you want but I don't want myself and future generations to be molded into cookie cutters that we should follow since we are a certain "gender".
