Wait. I never knew that the wedding dress she wears in the We Belong Together video is the actual dress from her wedding to Tommy.

Her vocals in the Eternal dance remixes >>>>>
They've been stuck in my head all day.
I hope we get hip-hop remixes next week. Give us Drake or Chance The Rapper Mariah.

Touch My Body, both as a song and the video.

Yeah trying not to reignite this mess again, but those tired as Hagney spears stans were really trying iT. I would have dragged to the gods, but by the time i got there it was locked.
Mariah does not get fillers, her face has ALWAYS been like that. She has full cheeks and high cheekbones just like her grandmother. That's her bone structure, on the other hand Britney looks like she was on meth somewhere in the trailer park.
Oh and the bitch who can't even remember the name of her latest single.

She could have a fun video for that song.

Exactly,right?!
Sometimes Mimi(& team) makes the most unconventional decisions.
Like she post a pic of candy for " You're Mine" single cover, but a hot bikini pic for a ballad like TAOLG

Mariah should do another big production video. WBT and TMB had big videos and they did good. But I don't know if that's what the GP wants or if it's the song that it's the problem. I'm clueless at this point lol.

One minute an indie rock sang can be slaying, the next it's an R&B song and then it's back to catchy dance songs. It's such a toss up and I imagine it's really difficult for artists to pinpoint what's selling right now.
Honestly, You're Mine probably wasn't the best choice regardless. I'm a Lamb and it still hasn't grown on me as much as I'd like it to. Taken, I stan Rainbow and TAOLG, so I'm probably not the best reflection of what's poppin' but still. At this point, I'd rather Mariah just stick with her traditional signature sounds and not worry about selling. It's useless because no matter what she throws out there I don't think it's going to do that great. Let's face it, she's sitting at the senior citizens table with Madonna, Celine and Cher. They all had great songs their past era that should have gotten more recognition but were all shunned by the GP because of their age. It's a sad to say that in the MUSIC industry youthful trends/gimmicks is more sought after than actual talent.
I don't really like TMB or You're Mine.

I totally agree with you two.
I wouldn't put so much on age,but honestly it's the musical climate

It's definitely the music climate more so than age, but there's no denying that age plays a huge part in the decline of an artist. Radio is notorious for shunning out older artists and with streaming playing such a huge part in charts now, it's difficult for artists with more a more mature demographic to get those boosts. I'm not saying Lambs are hags, but let's face it, Mariah (along with the other older girls) aren't getting as many YouTube and Spotify plays as Miley, Rihanna and what not. Which really does come back around to the current state of the industry and how music is judged. A lot of the younger generation is [sadly] going to overlook Mariah's talent and only see her as a music antique. All they want now is controversy and twinks.

Definitely Touch My Body. I remember when I first heard the song I wasn't sure how I felt about it being the lead single but I grew to love it and the fact it had such a fun and enjoyable music video helped. Although I love the song You're Mine, the video was a bit underwhelming. And sadly these days video stream seems to be more important than song quality I think if Mariah made another classic video she could really smash again. I have faith she will deliver another one this era

It's a shame that Mariah and Eminem have that feud. They could have had a really magical collab.
Something like Stan or Beautiful.

Yeah ,it's such a fickle place right now. Usually artist around Mimi's age, especially more urban/ R&B rooted artist like MJB, Alicia Keys , R.Kelly , Maxwell etc they aim for more classic R&B sounds. They start doing more mature music like Neo soul and some venture off to jazz or Gospel
Though Mimi's sound is still current and now,as shown with whom she has been working with lately( Hitboy, Darkchild, Dream are all current Urban producers) You're mine has a very nice production. It's just that people aren't here for urban or even regular pop ballads like they are for EDM and what not.
I actually think that the song is a great balance between both Pop and R&B

Perfectly put! It's a shame, but I'm glad that Mariah is sticking with her roots. Honestly, I wasn't fond of You're Mine but it's starting to grow on me. I had to let it sink in a bit, but the ascending vocals that take you a blissful Heaven and 90s vibe is slowly starting to slay me hard! The remix is another story. bleh.
