This response is kind of the way other extreme & not much better. People can also be happy without being superficial, what it seems you're implying. Being happy with your life & where it's at isn't basic, either. You can be quite happy all while putting out your quality self through non-superficial means. Meaning having valuable & unique relationships, memories, thoughts & emotions. Contemplating & understanding the world around you doesn't have to be this deep, cynical process that creates bitter contempt for those living with a different mindset than your own. I don't think it's healthy to think like that tbh, but to each his own.
It was meant to be the opposite and harsh and very straightforward. I've written essays on this topic, but they're long and include excessive use of difficult words. I also wanted to rant, because it's ridiculous to think like that Heidi troll. So don't get all sarcastic and deep about it.
