He got me into games again because I've fallen out of times, my last system was the original Xbox
I have a PS3 now, and Infamous looks awesome, so I'm gonna play 1 and 2, and then when Second Son comes out, I'm gonna play on his PS4 after he plays. So stoked.
He works at Gamestop too, and for the release, he's cosplaying as Delsin.
I don't need a reviewer to tell me what the game is about when I played it myself. ellie remains the precious cargo and cute little girl while Joel is her savior as most men would prefer.

People need to not come for Ellie until they watch or play through the entirety of Winter. There is a reason that she is constantly mentioned with the forward directed women of gaming (along with Lara, Clementine, and Elizabeth) and that chapter is primarily why. Lightning was unfortunately a critical flop though she does have a strong fanbase and is beloved in Japan. People simply got tired of her games especially when XIII-2 wasn't even about her despite the marketing push. It doesn't bother me. I'll enjoy Lightning Returns while I wonder how Lightning and Hope will hook up now that he is fifteen again. True love always faces the biggest burden.

infamous 1 was awesome!! Im actually playing part 2 right now and its a little darker than the first one but still really fun. im not sure if you will be able to beat both by the time the second son come out though.
im seriously thinking about getting a ps4 just for Thief and Second son.

Jesus wept ! Since the last post i made here i've completed The Last Of Us, Bioshock 1,2 and Infinite and DMC. I feel like i've been re-educated on what makes a game great (with the slight exception of DMC which was tacky great).
The Last of Us was frankly amazing and the Bioshock series is officially one of my new favs.

Great post. I wish everyone could play The Last of Us and see that it is not just a game that people like me talk up for no reason, but that it truly is a masterpiece with one of the most powerful narratives in all of gaming.

Of course. Its comparisons to Citizen Kane are less one of quality but rather one of innovation. The Last of Us rode the coattails of other esteemed well-written games, such as The Walking Dead or Uncharted 2, and took everything to the next level and set a new standard that will hopefully not be too impossible to top. It drastically changed the standard of quality writing and this will make both direction and quality of gaming reach a new cinematic high. If we were talking quality wise, I would probably compare it to something like The Godfather or Pulp Fiction of gaming.

Agree, Citizen Kane was definitely innovative for its time in terms of storytelling and presentation. I do not really see another studio equal to the caliber of Naughty Dog in relation to quality being able to top The Last of Us and its powerful narrative. It will probably have to be another one of their games in the future as they are currently unmatched in the industry. It is their industry to lose. That amount of pressure has to be frightening for them though, just as it was for Orson Welles after the release of Citizen Kane. Good luck Naughty Dog.
