Wait, I thought she fired him back in August? So you're telling me DWYW was going to be the second single back then, even though it was initially Venus?

You're right, kind of. The original Venus was a song called Boticelli Babe - she re-wrote it, re-produced it herself and changed it to Venus in August/September I believe.
And for the record, "years in advance" is just her gathering ideas. She planned out the entire era starting when she had her hip surgery and was resting March/April/May.

I actually don't believe that. I think she may have told us that to make us feel like they were still working on the album. Do you remember when there was a time we were supposed to get the tracklist but it was delayed? That was probably them arguing about which single they wanted to keep on the album and they probably chose Venus.

What Tara and her dad and everyone else was saying would make us **** our pants and the original lead single that "never changed" was Aura. But Gaga and Troy and Interscope were going back and forth between singles in June I believe. Not sure how they agreed on Applause but I think it was mostly Troy's doing and Interscope's agreeing it would be a good single.
I think the Troy proceedings just finished up in January, and I think she's been planning/creating ever since.
I have no idea about BTW :/

Is act 2 a thing ? is it being worked on and might see the light of day someday or just on of the multiple empty promises ? and do you think she'll release a third single and how likely that it would be G.U.Y ? Huh Nick ... ?
