Correct. Marry The Night is an extremely strong directing debut. The music video itself is very well edited - just look at the montage of sequences during the breakdown as the cars explode and it shows the sampled footage the prologue. Now the prologue itself should have been cut in half (or more) but I trust Gaga to have learned from her mistakes. She knows Marry The Night was too long now but she also knows that it had great looks, iconic choreography, and visually appealing shots.

The montage was nice buuuuuut the montage was the most interesting part.
I still can't believe we see her dancing for two minutes in a studio and then she puts all the interesting bits in a vine video.

The editing is the major flaw in this video.
Don't come for the studio bit. That is the best part of the video outside of the montage at the end. If anything, the worst part of the video is when they are dancing in the streets and you see Gaga walking frantically doing some flop choreography to get to the center. And then that tacky shot at the end. So messy. But I will never come for this.

I love the scenes on the street. Such a beautiful set.
I think they should've shortened the scenes in the studio and put more of the street in it.
