I remember when one I was really feeling When You Believe and my sister asked if I was okay.

I rarely cry listening to songs but years ago I weeped listening to Through The Rain, but really I was gonna cry anyway - I just played it to set the mood in the background lol.

But I admit getting misty eyed when listening to Outside, it's like she wrote it for me. I relate to every line.

Sony made alterations to the version on the demo tape because they thought it was too rough—the horn melodies were taken out and replaced with electric guitar melodies, and the ending was shortened by about eight seconds. Carey and Margulies were forced to accept the changes that were made because neither had been allowed to co-produce. Reportedly, Carey was unhappy with the final version of "Someday" produced, because both she and Margulies thought it had been too "polished." Carey's husband Nick Cannon subsequently confirmed in a 2011 interview with Perez Hilton that Carey is not fond of the track, and that he was urging her to perform the song live again.

Oooh I didn't know the details as to why she disliked Someday. But really I don't understand why an artist should be "forced" to accept changes on their own song (and I guess then forced to put it on the album). Just awful.
