Sales are more important. Streaming and radio are completely free, while sales indicate that people were willing to pay $1.29 or something like that for that one song.

No it doesn't.

Because whether they like the song or not IT'S THE MOST POPULAR.

The Hot 100 doesn't track "most liked songs by America".

Sales should be 60% since it shows people actually want the song enough to spend money on it.

Airplay is a okay indication too so 30%.

Streaming is a bad way to tell if people actually want a song, if it's truly popular or it's just a passing song that no one really cares for but a viral video made it relevant. It should be 10%

But that's basically radio shoving songs down people's throats just because labels are paying for it.

Hot100 should be about what's more liked/listened/accepted by the public, rather than how much a label is ready to pay.
