Soyou's track is infinitely better than Hyorin's whole solo album. That was a complete disappointment. She (her agency) chose the most generic R&B sound ever. Such a shame...

Hopefully AOA snatches that award. Miniskirt is so good

I agree that Some >>>>>> One Way Love, Lonely, and OMG. The album wasn't bad though. Closer, Falling, Tonight, Stalker, Massage, and Red Lipstick are so flawless. I feel like a Soyou album would be amazing tho 'cause we haven't seen her reach her potential solo so everyone would be surprised at what she has to offer. Plus she seems more diverse from what we've seen so far.
Actually wait, I take (some of) that back! I don't mean the whole album. The ones they picked for promotions are pretty much SISTAR's leftovers. I mean we got SISTAR and SISTAR19, we don't need a third spin-off for their sound. I wanted something else from Hyo. It doesn't take a genius to figure out why her teasers (with a different sound) have more views than the MV's
The album tracks mentioned are good, but they're still nothing special for the level Hyorin is on. She is always credited to why SISTAR have become such a success, so why are her solo tracks not all that?
I expected better from her and this is coming from a place of disappointment, considering the anthems SISTAR/SISTAR19 have bestowed upon us. I wanted her Dangerously In Love but what we got was more Killer Love... Say what you want about 2NE1, but even Dara's solo (which was a beer commercial!!) was a bop! And here comes the Carmit (Soyou) to Hyorin's Nicole snatching her glorified weave with one track that wasn't even built up as much as Hyorin's was. Tsk, tsk...
On a sidenote - pity teaser views aren't included as points for music show awards, SPICA would have Inki in the bag
[Trans] Jeff Bernat's Melon Music Interview (mentioned Jun K solo album)
Q: We heard that you like G-Dragon and you're acquainted with 2PM and EXO. In the future, do you have any plans to collaborate with them, just like Psy and Snoop Dogg?
Jeff: We are still working on it. I do not know whether I can make statements about these things officially. I have a number of Kpop artists with whom we are currently in contact with, and still currently in the works. Nothing is confirmed yet. I'm quite close to Jun K, who is currently preparing for his solo album. Hence, we are asking for you help (?) and support. We'll/I'll be having more activities in the future, please anticipate.
At first I wasn't too excited since he isn't exactly my favourite 2PM member, but then I remembered he composed what is by far the best song on 2PM's last Korean album (and one of their best songs ever) and now I'm ****ing stoked
As much as I like Rainbow, I couldn't help but cackle a little at this.

Yesterday, it was revealed that Rainbow's Jaekyung took part in filming for KBS 2TV's 'Full House' and told a story about how she originally was going to be a member of KARA. However, as the episode aired today, she further revealed that not only was she offered to be in KARA but she was also offered to join SM Entertainment, hinting at the possibility that she may have joined Girls' Generation.
Jaekyung said, "When I became a trainee at my agency ten years ago, I almost became a KARA member. However, the agency said, 'KARA's going to go for a cute image, so let's make a new team.' That is why I continued practicing. When I was getting tired of it, the time to recruit KARA members came. At that time, the agency said, 'You want to debut in KARA by any chance? Then, you could debut right away.' It was tempting, but I turned it down because I thought I would be happy with my Rainbow members."
Jaekyung continued, "No one knows this, but truthfully, I was contacted by SM Entertainment, too. I also turned them down. And then two months later, Girls' Generation made their debut," surprising everyone.
She was asked if she ever felt envy towards her label mate KARA. She replied, "Truthfully, I was a bit envious when KARA became a Hallyu icon."
Literally the two worst career decisions I've heard in a long time. I bet she's kicking herself that she passed up two opportunities to join some of K-pop's most successful female groups to stay with a group who've pretty much remained underrated and relatively unsuccessful since they debuted.
The thing is, out of all the Rainbow members she's by far the most Kara-esque of them. She'd have slayed had she said yes.

I agree that she would have slayed in KARA. But oh well,
Everyone wants a piece of the queen.
