the production was the biggest problem of the album. too overproduced, noisy/ grating & dated. there's only 2 main things that showed growth imo

1. applause, aura, & venus imo have better choruses than anything on btw album. the verses tho her self-sabotage >>

2. dope is prob. the best song of her career lyrically and vocally.

Instead of doing 'urban' music to appeal to the younger generation like madge did, Gaga did trashy EDM production to cater to drunk tards and stan lingo ("Slay!") and drug references in a very misguided attempt to try to be cool to the younger generation. Even the cover is similar
