I was thinking about the best & worst T10 singles of last year. By quarter entered (i.e. Jan-March, Apr-June, etc.):
Scream and Shout/The Way/Wrecking Ball/Timber - Britney + Ariana + Miley + Ke$ha, hooray.
Thrift Shop/Mirrors/Roar/Rap God
For this year, I have a feeling I’ll hate Happy soon, but for now it’s merely annoying when it pops up on the radio.

Final Predictions:
If I don't provide a percentage, that position is set in stone (in my opinion).
1. Dark Horse
2. Timber (80%)
3. Let Her Go (85%)
4. Talk Dirty (75%)
5. Counting Stars (70%)
6. Team (70%)
7. Royals (75%)
8. Happy (80%)
9. Drunk In Love (70%)
10. Say Something (60%)

Just a few notes on some songs:
- Royals' streaming is going to keep it in the top 10 for the next few weeks. It jumped from #5 to #3 on Spotify this week, getting a boost from its Grammy exposure. It won two awards and was performed.
- Talk Dirty moved to #7 this week on Spotify. As of yesterday's radio update (updates were not available today), it was #13 on Pop radio and #10 on Rhythmic radio.
- Radioactive jumped back up to #10 on Spotify this week.
- Happy got a great boost on Spotify, but it is still outside of the top 10 at #13. As of yesterday, it was #24 on Pop radio. It's been on the radio charts for just 16 days.
- Let It Go was remarkably stable this week in both sales and streaming. It is at #14 on Spotify and currently #12 on iTunes if you subtract the two Bruno Mars songs.
- Eminem is still very strong on radio. The Monster holds the top spot on Rhythmic and sits at #6 on Pop radio. It is #23 on Urban radio and #53 on HAC radio. It's a respectable #12 on Spotify. Meanwhile, Rap God has performed well on Spotify. It is at #31, just below another non-single, Tennis Court at #30.
- Pompeii is now up to #4 on Spotify. With Stay The Night and Do What U Want absolutely plummeting directly above it on pop radio, it looks to have a clear path to the #10 spot there.
- Burn continues to make big gains on pop radio, with a stellar bullet of 1,937. It is now just over 1,000 spins away from snatching the #2 spot from Counting Stars. However, it is suffering from a lowly #31 position on iTunes and a #15 ranking on Spotify.
- Speaking of Counting Stars, it has held up well on radio. It is at #2 on Pop, #3 on HAC, and #26 on Rhythmic. It is still in the top 10 on Spotify, at #9.
- Sail is looking like a good bet to stay on the Hot 100, as it has jumped to #40 on Spotify.
- The jury is still out on Hey Brother. At #31 on pop radio and #24 on Spotify, it still has a ways to go.
- Drunk In Love has continued to ascend pop radio. It is now at #76. It holds the #1 spot on Urban and the #3 spot on Rhythmic.
- Team is making good gains on pop radio, where it ranks at #7, with a bullet of 1,391. It also moved up one spot on Spotify this week to #6.

Recurrents are songs that are removed from the "Published" radio charts (which are at www.kworb.net/radio) because they are old. I believe that Song 1 should be higher than Song 2 on a radio chart if Song 1 has more spins, no matter how old either song is. Therefore, I use the chart at www.kworb.net/axcradio.

A lot of them are old, yes. Usually the #50 - #80 section is 80-90% older songs. But that's just how the charts work.

It's the top 50 current + top 50 recurrent, so half of the top 100 will always be recurrent.

I think "Burn" will pull a "Try" and log at least one week in the top 10 at #9 or 10.
It's radio is too big not to, and it's still doing pretty decently in streams.

No way. Its sales and streaming are too low, as I mentioned in a previous post. Plus, songs keep passing it. The Man is next.
It'll peak on radio soon enough. Probably within the next 2 weeks.
