Gaga shouldn't bother with Gypsy. DWUW is literally her most obvious hit (imo) and yet it flopped. Y&I just did meh on the radio and was a minor hit overall. Meanwhile Applause which was "so weird and un-relatable" did reasonably well
...which leads me to believe people really just aren't here for Gaga making diversions from her dance sound
I feel like at this point she should just release G.U.Y. or Venus and hope for the best, since they're more "classic Gaga," or she should release something TOTALLY unexpected--and Gypsy is not that song. Gypsy is a cheap TEOG-retread and will be received as such. I don't see it doing any better than DWUW.
I mean not to sound all Little Manager-y, this is just how I see it now
