Police are known to be incompetent especially in the case of sexual abuse so that means nothing.
Why would Mia and her kids make up something so hard to prove if they were just trying to destroy him?

It very very rarely happens, its not like one woman says "that man raped me" and everyone spits at them in the street and makes their life hell. People always defend accused abusers and very few have their lives ruined. If they are found not guilty it is always made a big deal of.
