Rih her When I Grow Up with non-cringy lyrics needs to happen.

!! Love it or hate it, she lives for herself and in her position, I can see that being especially hard to do with millions and millions of eyes on you at all times. I appreciate her bravery.
Especially as a woman there are so many rigid expectations and we're judged so much more harshly; you usually don't see women get that point of mental/spiritual freedom until the 30s/40s and beyond -- much later in adulthood, if ever. She's lucky that really clicked and kicked in for her so early on.
A Hive member just posted this about Rih.
This post is actually very insightful, I never realised how free and uncaring Rih actually is and how rare that is for young popstars, nevertheless I'm very happy my fave is such a strong and powerful woman without letting all the success get to her head.

I struggle with depression () and I've really looked up to Rih these past few years. She inspires me to do whatever makes me happy and to ignore the judgement of other people. We all make mistakes, we all make fools of ourselves sometimes, but as long as you keep persevering there's nothing to be ashamed about. Her personality warms my heart and her music helps me get through my bad days tbh

Me too!
I have yet to get out of it and I've had it since a couple of years now, but Rih really does inspire me in that way too.
It's so weird that we can get these emotional powers from people who don't even know our existance.
