Oddly enough, I can see "Drive" working after "Adore You". It isn't as 'ballady'.

Drive is still pretty ballad-y. If they were willing to take a risk after WB they could have released it instead of AY. It could either appeal to all pop/ballad/electronic/hip-hop fans or none at all.
Drive isnt as ballad-y as Adore You but its still too slow for next single. Its time for something upbeat like 4x4, Do My Thang, #GETITRIGHT, or even FU
This song needs to start getting better radio updates and picked up by larger stations like Z100 and KIIS if it wants to shoot into the top 10 on iTunes. And a performance somewhere wouldn't hurt either. MTV Unplugged was cute, but she needs a bigger show.
