I'm so mad Royals won SOTY This was the worst GRAMMYs I've ever seen. Basically all my least faves won
Are y'all excited for Adele to slay the 2017 GRAMMYs though, after her next album comes out?

Re: Adele. She's working on the album. She's in a good place, happy. Different sound. Will release when she feels it's done and ready.

Hi Raindreamer,
to your post in ATRL HQ
when someone thinks he can talk BS about an artist, so I tell him what I think about this.
And if a mod gets involved, fine, I show what I think about him, either.
Today so many grow up on internet and think they just can insult somebody without consequence, I
didn't grow up on internet, so I respond to those personal and it should hurt.

Okay, first of all....
1. That news that dude gave us was nothing we didn't already know. We knew Adele has been working on the album and that she was in a happier state of mind and would release it when it was good enough. Hopefully he'll spill more.
2. The Grammys' Vevo account deleted all of its older videos, I think, or deleted the account altogether. I went to look up Adele's acceptance speech for Album of the Year the other day and it was gone. But it's still on the Grammy website. Just Google "Adele Album of the Year Acceptance Speech".
3. And Ichi, as for your comments about Hob being so rude on the Adele forums, I literally read your description of him and I didn't even have to look at who you were describing to know it was Hob. He / she has always irritated me. They're very defensive and cocky and they do really bother me too, I know how you feel.
4. Was anyone else irritated with this year's Album of the Year winner? I knew Daft Punk would win it, but anyone who won't even take off their helmets to speak during their Album of the Year acceptance speech does not deserve it. I don't care how great their album was, it bothered me that only the producers spoke because they had to wear their stupidass helmets for a publicity stunt. They are making the Grammys look like a joke. Honestly... The Grammys' favoritism was more obvious this year. I don't want them to become a joke! They're the most prestigious award in music and if they become a joke, then we have nothing. Regardless, Adele is still their favorite and still wins, so I don't care!
5. Anyone else love P!nk's performance? She was FLAWLESS. Lorde was good too, but I think she thought she was a mentally unstable dinosaur on stage judging by some of those dance moves. It was a bit creepy. Still really good, though. Beyoncé's performance was a little too sexual, though. She had a nip slip, and it bothers me that she thinks it's okay to act like that when she has a daughter that I know she wouldn't want seeing that. She has to keep that in mind. But her vocals were really great (I'm assuming she wasn't lip syncing like some people thought). I just think she would've slayed just as hard without the suggestive outfit and dance moves.

completely lackluster grammys
I think Daft Punk always wear that atire so don't think they were just doing it just for the grammys, much like how the gorillaz never appeared in human form. However yeah i agree if you get the most prestigious award in music you damn well speak.

Daft Punk are known for their helmets though its kinda iconic and i wanted them to win.Yeah i LOVED P!nks performance and the Imagine Dragons with Kedrick one was amazing too.The Beyonce one was just too much for the Grammys and honestly i am tired of her shoving her ***** in my face all the time. Lorde was ok but she just makes you feel uncomfortable watching her.I also loved the Daft Punk/pharell etc performance it got everyone on their feet dancing.
PS: My baby P!nk though

I have to say this Kendtrick + IG was one hell of a performance.
As a fan of metal, the mixing of the voices of the last performance was terrible.
I thought the last speech from this writer of the Daft Punk album was great.
Ringo Star with Photograph belongs to my earliest musical memories, nice.

4) I'm actually very satisfied with AOTY winner. Love Daft Punk, they were quite a big part of my childhood since my brother used to be a big fan. And to be quite honest, I'd be satisfied as long as that "country album" didn't win. And to be honest, the Grammys ARE a joke. Of course they are still the best music awards, but they are biased as ****.
5) Loved LOVED P!nk, even though I was a tiny bit disappointed she did basically the same thing I've seen on tour. But whatever, still slayed. Which gets me back to how huge joke the Grammys actually are, that Pop Duo/SOTY should've been hers. I was glad to see Lorde is getting better with her live performances.
And Beyoncé... I don't even care that much about the whole sexuality thing, but I can't really see what was that special about it. And I'm pretty sure she was lip-syncing at least some parts (you can clearly see how she screwed up that one part). Idk, I just expected something better from her, because she can do better. It's Beyoncé after all.
Disappointing Grammys imo, I was really bored. There were some great performances, like Imagine Dragons with Kendrick, Get Lucky... and John Legend. But that's really it.
Oh and is someone else also tired of LL Cool J? He reminds me of Tina Fey's quote from the Golen Globes - "This is Hollywood so if something kind of works, they'll just keep doing it until everybody hates it"

Imagine Dragons, P!nk, Gary Clark Jr., and the marriages were the highlights for me. I could care less if Daft Punk took off their helmets, doesn't take away from them winning and how good their music is. How could the tv audience enjoy Bey's performance when half of it was bleeped out. Lorde is embracing the negative comments about her dancing/performing, so good for her. P!nk should win a Grammy for sure, and I hope when they chose to honor her, she slays them all in her speech. i don't mind LL but I want Sharon Osborne to host lol.

I actually thought most of the performances last night were great. I expected a little more but overall they were good. It just lacked a real "big" moment like it did last year as well.
Anyways, I still need more info because what Ryan told that guy said on twitter is what we have been saying/known forever now.
