It takes a certain type of musician or producer to make electronic music a la Disclosure and I just don't see that in kpop. AS were very lucky to have Shinichi Osawa make music for them and I really hope we'll hear more from him on their upcoming Japanese album but that kind of sound in kpop would get overused and boring real quickly

Umm the US has been "paying dust" to dance music since 2011 now and I think it's quite disgusting that people would rather listen to boring pseudo indie folk like Lorde and Gotye than quality electro house
I don't expect kpop to follow so quickly either.
