Meryl Streep is anything but ugly. She's very beautiful. But Meryl Streep's
Rolling Stone cover by Annie Leibovitz still gives me nightmares, though.
Before "True Blood." Before "Twilight."
Before "Vampire Diaries." Before "Teen Wolf." There was:
The greatest movie of all time.
...Vin
That cover is iconic.

Annie retells the back-story of this iconic photograph of Meryl Streep in her book Annie Leibovitz At Work. In 1981, Streep was just beginning to receive a lot of press attention, becoming increasingly uncomfortable with the disparate portrayals that appeared simultaneously in Time magazine, Life and Vogue. “I’m just a nobody; an actress!” Pointing to some white face lying nearby in the studio for a different project, Leibovitz suggested perhaps Steep would be more comfortable as a mime. “This set her at ease. She had a role to play. It was her idea to pull at her face.” Who can’t relate to the tug of trying to pretend to be someone or something we aren’t? We understand Streep’s gesture in a deeply intuitive way that suggests a connection with the real person behind the mask. Leibovitz makes us feel as though we are in cahoots with Meryl, even if it is just for a moment.
I couldn't make it through Practical Magic, and I like both SSandra and Botoxman.

Someone send 0:30 - 2:00 to Gaga so that she may be less blindsided. Meryl really does hold all the answers, doesn't she?
ICON, being so humble and always thanking those who helped her reach her icon peak. When will Theifonce and Flopga? When will "I prayed to get big boobs and geisha's love unconditionally"? When will Robot?
!! I love reading stuff like "she's over". The single ladies thread with all the bashing before it became iconic gave me life too.

I'm pretty sure that her time is up. People are just tired of her. & she has Payola behind her and is still flopping. What does that say? It doesn't have the biggest airplay. If it did it wouldn't be flopping.
This was before Irreplaceable set airplay records.
