GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL: Heard enough about football lately? Well, here's some news about fútbol. FIFA (the world governing body of what gringos call "soccer") has selected "We Are One (Ole Ola)" by Pitbull f/Jennifer Lopez and Brazilian star Claudia Leitte as the Official Song of the 2014 World Cup. The trio will perform the anthem at the World Cup Opening Ceremony on 6/12 at Brazil's Arena de Sao Paulo; Sony will release the track on a World Cup-themed album. Meanwhile, Pitbull's single "Timber" featuring Ke$ha (RCA) hit #1 at Top 40 radio this week. In a related story, Richard Sherman warned an interviewer not to mention Luis Gustavo, adding, "I'm the best midfielder in the game."
This is really gross and Claudia Leitte is the most hated singer in Brazil. I wonder how she gets these gigs...
