Dope is NOT that bad of a single guys. It's at least semi-relatable and if it is dropped soon, could be a moderate/top 40 hit.

Sure, it's already top ten, but anything is better than Swine or Jewels N Drugs.

How is Dope being a single "truly the beginning of ARTPOP?" When she said that I was expecting some killer music videos for Gypsy and GUY and even Venus...but not Dope

That ends up lessening the effect for either single and neither becomes a hit. DWUW suffered because Gaga kept performing Venus, Dope or Gypsy on the same show she performed it on, excluding the AMAs and The Voice, so there was no clear promo for a track.

And most importantly, #DOPE, the song that we'll at least be able to say peaked Top 10, because let's face it, if DWUW couldn't go top 10, nothing on ARTPOP will. We can either have Gypsy (gross!) peak in the top 40, or have Dope potentially slay the Bubbling Under chart... yet Dope will still have technically been a bigger hit

"Dope" becoming a single means that Gaga is still completely out-of-touch with reality & has too much power and creative freedom. Sigh, the fact that we are begging for her to get less creative freedom is sad. Where did it all go wrong? What happened to the "master of fame"?

Sis, we all have to accept that any chance of commercial success this era is over. DWUW was the one shot it had. Let Gags just release whatever singles she wants/enjoys

I'm not even remotely expecting any top 20 singles at this point Just waiting for her next album, which is when we'll finally know if she wants commercial success again or if she wants to keep doing whatever the **** she feels like.

Which there is nothing wrong with if that is what she chooses. She may lose fans but she is at a point where she can put out what she wants and never really struggle again.
