She literally never actually **** shamed
In BTR the girl stole her boyfriend so obviously she was mad. She wasnt singing about some girl's personal life that had nothing to do with hers. Camille "being known for the things she does on the mattress" really hurt her and affected her.
As for YBWM, I mean no way was brunette Taylor suggested as being a "****" I mean she had a boyfriend. The only thing is her dress was slightly more revealing at the prom scene, uh so?
And exactly. People talk about how she never sings about mature love but she does. Mature love doesnt equal "F*ck me with a shovel and text me if you feel like it" Thats pretty immature if you ask me, more like a middle-schoolers idea of whats mature.
Mature love is more like "Two headlights shine through the sleepless night
And I will get you, and get you alone
Your name has echoed through my mind
And I just think you should, think you should know
That nothing safe is worth the drive and I will
Follow you, follow you home"
Hey that song is about sex, but it is sang in a beautiful, classy and, yes MATURE way. How most ADULTS look at sex.
But hey, you should be able to freely express whatever you want anyway! If you want to sing "F*ck me with a shovel" why should anyone criticize you, its your art. And if you wanna sing songs like "Treacherous" than great! Thats your choice but it makes even less sense when people call you immature for that when theres stuff like "F*ck me with a shovel" to contrast.
