I think if you mean performers, she is in the top 5 or top 10 of all time.

But if you mean someone who is that good at singing (incredible vocalist) AND that good at dancing at the same time then yes, she is. This is a no brainier at all.

You're doing a bit much getting into all time bests and things of that nature, but I definitely think Bey's particular skill set is extremely unique. You don't see vocalists as good as her performing the way that she does. It's typically either/or -- really strong vocalist like Whitney and Mariah or decent-good singer/amazing performer/dancer like Janet and Madonna.

Beyoncé is an extremely skilled vocalist, but she's only a decent dancer. She is one of the all time greatest performer. Top 10 for sure, for me she's top 5. But performing is about more than pristine vocals. Showmanship is something else entirely. Bey learned from the best.

And MJ, Prince, James and Tina are excellent vocalists too.

But that's not really the question. That variable is a matter of taste anyway - what you like and also what an artist likes and wants their show to be structured as. But talent is for the most part objective. Hitting the notes, hitting the beat is a yes/no sort of thing.

Oh, I definitely agree. That's why I specifically said performer not dancer in reference to Bey. But, I think being an impressive performer is more important, anyway. It's not about just dancing -- you can be an AMAZING dancer but still be a lackluster musical performer (this describes Ciara, J. Lo to a T, IMO) and come across like a backup dancer with a microphone.

And I think that Michael, Prince, James and Tina were/are great vocalists/singers, but Bey is the best in that area in that grouping even though they're all really great. I think she's the first vocalist of her level to be able to perform at such a high level. But, when you get into all around/total package bests, that's where it gets tricky, because all of their individual all around/overall skill sets best her all around skills.

Considering all talents and how their various talents are combined, I don't think she has an all-around superlative; however, I do feel like she's one of a kind in her skills with the way her talents are distributed if that makes sense.
