The teacher's contract implies conduct both in and outside the school.

That would apply to private schools only with a contractual honor code. This is a public institution.

But the crazy thing about it is regardless of if everyone can find the videos, HE DOESN'T USE HIS REAL NAME! Meaning, if you didn't know that he was doing this, with all the **** on the internet, his videos are not an easy find if you're not actively looking especially on the right sites. Just saying.

So what? A student has the absolute right to a public education in the US. Nobody has the absolute right to employment from any institution for which they wish to work, and employment is a private relationship that absolutely can be governed by your actions outside work. It's an entirely different concept.

But what constitutes inappropriate out of school behavior? It was legal, consensual, and private.

I didn't, and now I'm wondering why.

Nothing I agreed to upon registration said anything about outside practices, it was all inside stuff like the tech use policies, rules in school, etc.

It's not the same for the students. The students aren't paid employees of the school. I don't see how, legally, his suspension is going to fly. The only grounds they could have for suspension/expulsion is if he was doing something that was illegal or endangering the student body or administration somehow.

Not only is that his job, but it's not like he's flaunting the fact that he's a gay **** model around. That's not right.

They're essentially just eliminating the target of the bullying just to subdue the controversy instead of doing the responsible thing and trying to get rid of the bullying. I hope that he takes legal action, considering his education is on the line.

Right, the bullying would have something to do with the gay aspect, but not the school's actions. If the student had been seen performing on a straight **** site or found to be a craigslist prostitute or something, and the school found out about it, there would've been some kind of controversy.

A public school can't punish you for something that you do outside of school property/events (something LEGAL, at that). He is of legal age and it doesn't involve them. He's not under a employment contract like teachers are. He better sue.
