[Oktober Knight]

I finally watched You're Next. It wasn't nearly as good as everyone said it was. The twist was a bit predictable (I usually am way off on predicting endings but this was no surprise to me) and there were very few scare scenes. I have to admit though, there were some very tense moments (the animal mask reflection on the window, killer crawling out from under the bed, etc.). Thank god for that awesome Australian girl ... she's the only thing that saved the movie for me. She was probably the smartest girl in horror movie history and she really kicked some ass!

Sinister and The Conjuring are still my fav horror movies of 2013.

Most movies have Swedish subtitles (unless they're really obscure), so I'm lucky.

Omg, The Midnight Meat Train, I only watched that because of Bradley Cooper and I understood NOTHING The ending was so confusing.

Oh I know. that was the scariest part! I've been a horror fanatic since I was in diapers so needless to say, not much scares me anymore (esp today's pg-13 horror films) but Sinister had me freaking out every time the home movies were playing. I haven't been that tense in YEARS while watching a film.

It's a polarizing movie. Some people are here for horror-comedies, some people hate them. I loved The Cabin In The Woods so it doesn't surprise me that I'm such a big fan of You're Next.

Yeah, the concept itself wasn't too original. It's kinda like The Cabin In The Woods in the way that it starts like your typical horror movie but then takes a major turn when the twist comes into play. But I thought that the death scenes were super clever, especially when the sister got her throat slit by the wire, the camera flashing scene (I know it's been done before but that scene was just awesomely done), and those nail boards that she laid by the window.

That, Carrie, and The Conjuring are probably my horror trinity for 2013

I heard that one of the cast members from the first movie said a sequel wouldn’t be made unless more fans demanded it this makes me doubtful of it ever being born
