The Truth About Bland is one of her worst albums and I don't care what all the soccer mums have to say. It is so bland, there is no raw emotion and I honestly couldn't feel a connection with it. I don't care how high the metacritic score is, to me, I'm Not Dead is her best.
I know! We didn't even know Funhouse or a single was coming until All Access posted "So What" as "going for adds". Lol. Everyone thought it was fake. We didn't even know about Blow Me till like 2 weeks prior. Lol

This was her arguably best era so far so I'm scared to death that they want to follow with a TTAL 2.0.
I agree about the overmixed, at times almost robotic vocals in the Greg tracks but TTAL has more than five good songs so that automatically makes it better than FH.
It was made to be a rock song but it lacks the rock characterics. The ohohohoh part sounds like Butch got drunk on the mixing table and accidentally raised the pitch.

TTAL is a solid album, nothing special, nothing new, nothing groundbreaking.
It's enjoyable. I do hate some of Kurstin's songs. And I hope she doesn't work with him on next album.
But, TTAL is still better than most of the albums that have been released in the past 2 years.
AWAWA is good though. I really like it.
Blow Me meh. Repetitive.
Try and JGMAR are good.

HCYNH, I can't remember when was the last time I played this track. Never enjoyed it.

TTAL is okish.
Beam me Up and TGE are beautiful ballads. I mean, if you loved 21 or her older ballads, you'll love this too.

I know you love it. While it can be a great album compared to others, it's below her standards and that's why I say what I say. For me it was a huge disappointment when the snippets appeared, when it got released and although it got better when I see her live, I couldn't get into it. TTAL has the most songs that I don't like/listen to: AWAWA, True Love, BMU, WoS, HCTW, TGE, ITSO?, MSM and Run. That's 20/9!!!

Y'all will not come for Greg, he's a great producer. When was the last time P!nk had an instrumental as good as Try? Heck, even Blow Me is well produced. The only problem with TTAL is that it's same old same old.
Alrightsir is right. TTAL is one of the best albums released since 2010 but its one of the worst by her. I have to be honest when I say this, it sounds very generic. It sounds way over polished. Funhouse might have less fun tracks but it has way more raw material which only P!nk herself can show off.

Unfortunately Critics disagree since Funhouse got 69 and TTAL got 77
Besides TTAL is one of her most diverse albums musically.
Ballads, pop rock, r&b, that old rock and roll style (HCYNH) critics agree with me on this too btw.

I meant production overall, not particularly the instrumentals. Try has f***in amazing instrumental, arguably her best, yet it sounds way too noisy with vocals.
