Americans are really full into this awkward, hopeless political correctness that is really interesting to see from outside. But she is American, she should know the drama a word can cause there.
She ain't racist tho, she was the biggest Obama supporter ever
Can you explain why they have to justify it to you........?
Obviously, to African Americans the connotations of the word has been changed and reclaimed to something of positivity.......
When white or other people say it, it's entirely not the same.
'they'? I am one myself. I don't get mad when a non-black person uses words like the one in OP. If people want to use it, that's on them. But I never understood the argument of "the world is vile why do white people/non blacks want to use it", but then go around justifying that blacks have the right to use it the word is vile. No one should use it period.
In my country black people literally do not give a single **** whether white people (or anyone) uses it. They refer to themselves as it, and so do we. Doesn't mean we're being racist. I'm definitely not a racist person. We don't mean no harm... I think Americans are overly dramatic and overly sensitive as usual. Do you really think Madge had the intention to be racist?? Like girl...
you one of the biggest racist on this site your view and opinion doesn't matter and will never matter to anyone. take your disgusting racist ass somewhere else please. Thank you.
can you elaborate why if the word is that vile, why anyone would want to use it? Why would a black person want to use any variation of the word n*gger considering its history?
Um. There is laws in Africa (Urbanda for example) where gays are punished to death for being... Well, gay.
Nigeria also just passed JUST recently where gays can face up to 14 years in prison if caught having "gay sex"
This "ni**a" issue is only a problem in America becase we're so backwards and dramatic as a whole, both white and black, but for you to brush off what's STILL happening TODAY in AFRICA..IDK tho, maybe you were unaware.
I mean if gga is so offensive, even when used in an endearing manner, then don't make hit songs using that word point blank. You're only popularizing it amongst everyone, making it ok for anyone to listen and sing along to.
Listen, the N-word and the F-word both shouldn't be used by non-black people and non-gay people respectively. That's all. I don't think anyone in here thinks it's okay.
