I'm a noob with all this, how much longer before we expect to get 10 more? I'm not sure how long GOTY awards keep coming in?

Since GOTY season is closing it might not even happen. It is all a matter of what the remaining media outlets and possible readers' choice awards choose. I hope it happens though. I am ready to make the thread and watch the meltdowns unfold.

As much of a Microsoft stan I am, I have to say it does not pain me to say this game deserves all of the praise its getting. Playing it is truly a life-changing experience bcos its been a long time since a game of such quality has been released. No doubts about the fact that it'll beat that record

There really is no point in posting the Game of the Year 2013 stats anymore since The Last of Us has an 80+ lead and it is already over. The Last of Us is now coming for the most awarded game in GOTY history! Only needs 6 more!

based on the way the awards have been going, I think they'll get at least the 7 more they need to beat Skyrim.
