Look at Lady Gaga, big peak, was at one point the biggest artist in the world and now do people even care about her? Janet's a LEGEND because her influence on music and POP CULTURE can still be seen today, her songs and performance style can still be seen today meaning she will ALWAYS be remembered.

Britney has outsold Janet
I stanned back in the late 90s/early 2000s and never heard a Janet song on the radio. I live in the U.S. and have never once heard a Janet Jackson song on the radio. She's the epitome of a "slept on icon." Just look at her catalogue sales.
By the logic that Michael makes her more famous than Britney, does that mean Tito is now more famous than Madonna and LaToya is a bigger star than Elvis?
Janet's problem was she was overshadowed. Between her brother, Madonna, Mariah, Whitney and even Britney herself, Janet never really was the big pop artist.
