I think it depends on the post. If the post that you replied "" with is obvious flamebait or breaking the rules, you can get into trouble if you quote it and further disrupt the thread.

I would understand if I were laughing at a sick comment like the ones posted in syg about death, cancer, etc.....but I was only laughing a the someone making a joke about someone's writing skills.
