I'm amazed when people still claim Madonna doesn't write her own songs after all these years. There are so many lyrics/melodies/themes/vocal tics that are unique to her and her musical sensibilities, and we know this because she's been the only creative constant throughout her entire career/catalogue. And even when she does receive songs from other writers, like Bjork, Ingrid Chavez or Billy Steinberg, she re-structures/re-writes them to suit her own style and offers her wn interpretation of the work.

I mean, listen to the demo of Gang Bang or the song Ray of Light was initially based on before she got to them.

I need for it to give us a long period for tickets to sell out, I know Madonna never flops (unless you count the 3 shows out of 336 since The Drowned World Tour ) but I worry the MDNA era will cause the gp to be a little salty with her also, it'll give me some time to shift some funds around so I can go to more shows I need to see it in Australia if she FINALLY goes (20 years now Madge).

I'm kinda thinking this too.

'Hard Candy' and the S&S Tour spent a lot of the goodwill she got for 'Confessions...' and the supporting tour, and it feels as though 'MDNA' may have done similar damage.

People were saying this after Hard Candy too though. I don't think anyone is expecting critical acclaim or much success. Even if it's great people will just judge it on its sales.

She will, I think it's part of her contract to do two more tours - not 100% sure tho. I want it to be a MDNA meets Sticky & Sweet Tour, Confessions is overrated.
