So Miley returned with an album that was surprisingly less ratchet and crazy than what I expected (just like We Can't Stop). There is a surprising number of ballads. And these ballads aren't just generic, typical ballads that artists throw in to balance the album out. They are quality ballads with real raw emotions, something that you wouldn't think you'd hear from an album titled Bangerz. Other than the ballads, there is a fair share of crazy in the album. Though people may shake their heads at these, I find them very enjoyable, a form of release. Like, what is better than rapping "bang bitch, ya think I'm strange bitch, it's bananas like a ****ing rangatang bitch". (As nonsensical that is it's cool idk why it's just cool.)

After changing her stage name from Holly Brook, collaborating with tons of artists, releasing her first single years ago and then shelving Invinsible altogether, Skylar finally released her debut major label album after so so so so long. While the lead single shocked us a little, the album is a step in the right direction. The album is full of catchy poppy hooks, hip-hop influences, and her signature angsty emotional songs. However there are also a ton of okay songs, like Pulse, Sunshine, Glow In The Dark, Clear Blue Sky. But it's still a good album.

I discovered this album 1 day before the end of 2013 and it already makes it into the top 20. I've never listened to Arcade Fire before (except for Abraham's Daughter which I happened to hear cuz of The Hunger Games). I always thought they made indie rock/folk or something that I wouldn't be really interested in. I even didn't really like the lead single when I heard it the first time. But I listened to Afterlife and it wasn't too bad. So I gave the album a try, and I did not regret it. The songs are so bloody long, but I don't care. They're long not cuz they're repetitive (like JT). I could dance to this album for ages. It's just so dancy, something that I wasn't expecting at all. The album is still very fresh in my mind so I don't really know which are the best and worst songs.

This album is a greater turn away from their usual baroque and alternative rock sound, and moves towards more pop and electronic. Despite this, this is a really tight and enjoyable album. The production is top-notch, with each beat and each synth grabbing your attention. It's these paired with Brendon's voice that makes it so interesting as you've never heard this combination before.

I'm only listen to Bangerz,so I'll comment about this one

Miley just overrated this album about sth like Bad from Michael Jackson.Bangerz is the weakest album coming from Miley for me until now !!! She has 2 strong tracks and choose all of them as singles,so now she has no more hype (You can clearly see Adore You)

Not to mention Armys and Smilers used to overhyped SMS so much,for me,it's a mess for their career...

Anyway,4x4 & Wrecking Ball are amazing
