Late as per usual in responding to something in this thread... As for single releases.. A lot of you are leaving like two months in between singles which means they wouldn't even have time to peak/die out a bit

WANEGBT was the only logical single choice.. I would've liked Red or SoG, but neither would've had a big impact.. Trouble HAD to be the second pop single.. They would've been foolish to hold it back. Begin Again was the perfect choice for second country single. I'm glad 22 was released when it was. I don't want that being the last thing people hear before the new era.. EHC was a good closing pop single and Red was a good close to country singles; however, Red should've been released to pop as well.

Other possible choices/thoughts
I wish SoG or Treacherous would've been a single after IKYWT.. She had the momentum there and pop radio was trusting her.. They would've picked it up. Stay x3 is a bop but I'm glad it wasn't a single.

In his earlier work, Luke Bryan was a co-writer on most of his album tracks. For his current album, he is a co-writer on only 2 tracks. The rest are all written by others. Of his 3 singles from this album, none of them are written by him. AFAIK Luke Bryan has never published a song for which he has solo-writing credits.

So it is not him writing his bad lyrics from his recent singles. Although if he could do better he would have done.
