Yeah, I actually expected the process to take much longer. I guess there must have been some amazing applications that really stood out among the bunch.
Y'all should just calm down. If you get it, you get it, but if not it's not the end of the world or doesn't ruin your chances of getting a position in the future.
I think the problem is just the lack of involved female posters on ATRL in general - that said, we do at least have some stellar female candidates, which is a great thing.
