Do you guys think Say Something can still go to #1? I was expecting a #3 peak initially. But then with all the exposure from X-Factor and the AMAs, I was convinced a #1 for on lock. But airplay is moving SOO slow. And now there's Dark Horse

They really need to perform it again. I'm hopeful that the only reason they haven't after the AMA's is because they're waiting for the airplay to accumulate. It can easily go to #1 if they have a plan.

I don't know how smart it is to put faith into Epic Records and Christina Aguilera's team, though.

The video was doing really well on Streaming until Xmas! These Xmas things always shake up the charts and some things don't recover

It's no. 2 combined. And don't get fooled by that airplay update, everyone is gaining a lot. Biggest updates were for 6-5 million, so it isn't doing great. Chances of a #1 (Billboard) are pretty much gone. Timber is getting stronger and DH is coming super hard so I don't see this going #1. Not to mention TM won't fall that fast and there are Royals and CS too. Unfortunately radio isn't supporting this song enough to compete with the rest even if it sells more than them, also streaming does not help at all.

Yeah, I agree about that airplay update being not the greatest compared to the other updates, which is why that sassy response from him (if that's what it was) suprised me. This isn't an opinion we are forming lightly.

And if we're going to post stats, it would help to post all of them including the streaming figures. Dark Horse is only one position behind Say Something on Streaming Songs (the overall streaming chart). So it's probably going to go to the top when the music video comes out

Just have faith. The airplay IS amazing. I agree that it could be more amazing, but Pop radio, the format that provides the largest AI hasn't fully picked it up yet. It's not top 15, it's not on Power Rotation on any major stations. Just give it time.

of course things could be *more* amazing for the song, but it could be a LOT worse too lol. Might not reach #1 but for an unknown band collabing with xtina (who has had her share of chart misfortunes in recent years) this level of success is amazing. And I'll take whatever we get.
