Ask yourselves this, what is Pebe's intention? At this point, there's no more to gain from publicly shaming Dr. Luke. Pebe is just exacerbating the issue by continuing this crusade -- this crusade that neither Dr. Luke or Ke$ha, her own daughter, has even commented on yet. The "Pebe just wants to protect her daughter" excuse doesn't really work, because in what way is stating, "[Ke$ha's] been going with me to Alcoholics Anonymous meetings since she was just over a year old," helping your daughter or the public's perception of your daughter at all? Furthermore, you better PRAY that what Pebe is saying about Dr. Luke -- the refrigerator comments and everything else -- are all 100% true, because if even a fragment of these claims that Ke$ha's mother is unnecessarily throwing out there in public are false, Dr. Luke has every right to sue Pebe Sebert for slander, libel, and defamation. And guess who really loses there? KE$HA. Ke$ha would have to pay the court costs, etc because SHE'S the one who's worth millions, not Pebe. Pebe just needs to shut the f*** up, because all she's doing is making the situation so much worse with this bull****. The only smart people in this whole ordeal are Ke$ha and Dr. Luke. Ke$ha will tell her story very soon (and Dr. Luke will most likely counter with his story). And at THAT time, that's when everyone should be paying attention, not now with the rantings of someone's attention-seeking mom on Twitter and random interviews on gossip sites.

I wouldn't bet on it and honestly wouldn't put it past Pebe to do this, but I don't think she did this without talking to her daughter beforehand.

I've actually never been a fan of K$'s minus enjoying a few songs. My biggest beef with her has been that her image always felt staged and that the 'party girl' veneer was not genuine. Now that I know that K$ is also frustrated herself with this perpetuated image, I fully support her right now--both in recovery of health and in her crusade to salvage some sort of career where she at least has some creative input of her own.

I fully understand that no artist has full creative control when a major label has invested a lot of money into them; however, for K$ to seem as unhappy as she is, I wish Dr. Luke would give her more freedom or let her pursue her interests elsewhere. At this point, it may even be a wise business decision for Luke, as this can and will progress into a bigger PR nightmare for him.

Despite my earlier comment above, I'm not cynical about the situation whatsoever, and I appreciate Pebe's effort a lot.

I hope Ke$ha will be able to fully recover with time, and address this situation in her own words. She has proven to handle delicate topics like this MUCH better than her mom if you ask me.

I just want to say that Kesha's mom probably knows what shes talking about, I mean she's our only real resource for confirmation here. I'd imagine that Kesha's PR people read the interview before putting it out, I mean if she's away for a month her management needs to do something in the meantime, and they're trying to organize her escape from Luke. I think they're doing the right thing, if she really wants to get read of her demons they need to reveal the whole truth.

Although literally the only intention behind this interview might have been mere damage control in light of the alcohol abuse rumors, which would mean it wasn't a conscious and- at least more or less- carefully deliberated decision.
