ke$ha and her mom are really close so i very highly doubt she would lie or spread misinformation that ke$ha wouldn't want out there. she wanted to clarify some things and get rid of the drinking rumor that's going around. i don't really see a problem with it.

If I knew about the previous troubles of my child with eating disorders ? Of course I wouldn't tell. It's dumb and irresponsible what she did considering her daugher's past and she can only blame herself for not taking into account all the possible outcomes. I feel awful by reading about what this young girl is going through and it makes me sick that her own parent only made things worse instead of assuring that her child is shielded from this mess. Luke's comment was disgusting but so was what she did.

Bulimia? Poor girl. i'm glad at least she's eating and getting some nutrients. I've done the whole throw up after you eat thing and it gets to be a habit because its just so convenient to stick a finger in your mouth.

I had to stop tho cuz its not healthy for my throat to be vomiting 2+ times a day and take care of my man.

Clearly, Ke$ha is very unhappy in her contract with Dr. Luke; if he had some humanity, he'd either give her more artistic freedom to do her thing, or let her go. Seriously--it's not like he's depending on K to pay his bills. He's plenty rich & successful from his songs with other musicians.

This is just starting to become a mess. I don't want to place all fault on Dr. Luke since I clearly am only a spectator, but what is clear is that K$ is unhappy with her current career and her repressed creative artistic vision.

I got the impression from the interview that Pebe didn't know about the fact that her daughter had an eating disorder at that point. She said that she didn't find out about the fact that she'd been making herself throw up for a while.

Yeah, everything I've read about eating disorders suggests that bulimia is the biggest trap, considering it does so much intense damage to the body, but rarely even affects weight.

The problem, like another user said, is that it becomes addictive. A friend of mine suffers from it & says the purge itself feels therapeutic, or like a weight is lifted, even if they don't lose any weight.

Meanwhile, the stomach acid is causing your teeth to rot, your enamel's wasting away, constant sore throats, low energy, facial bloating, electrolytes are getting dangerously out of whack, damage is being done to the heart, & it affects mental health as a result.

Seriously depressing stuff.

Agreed. Her mom is speaking on K$'s behalf since K can't speak for herself due to potential legal ramifications.

I've actually never been a fan of K$'s minus enjoying a few songs. My biggest beef with her has been that her image always felt staged and that the 'party girl' veneer was not genuine. Now that I know that K$ is also frustrated herself with this perpetuated image, I fully support her right now--both in recovery of health and in her crusade to salvage some sort of career where she at least has some creative input of her own.

I fully understand that no artist has full creative control when a major label has invested a lot of money into them; however, for K$ to seem as unhappy as she is, I wish Dr. Luke would give her more freedom or let her pursue her interests elsewhere. At this point, it may even be a wise business decision for Luke, as this can and will progress into a bigger PR nightmare for him.

Anyway, get well Ke$ha. Rooting for you.

Binge and purge is the worst one of the girls I know who suffered from it caused permanent damage to her oesophagus because of all the vomiting. Bulimia is the closest anyone can get to hell on earth imo

But K$ will get the help she needs, those people in there are professionals who know what they're doing. It'll take a while but she'll get back to her normal, happy self soon
