I'm sorry but I just don't feel that Bill Werde was the best person for the job. His personal bias CLEARLY influenced the charts

The pre-order thing is actually a difficult situation - i will not discuss it here. i'd just say they should release the single instead of the pre-order auto download. in that way, we still have the single with beautiful cover (I love it tbh ), and still go with the rules

But clearly, Billboard should not change their ****ing rules every year, or even worse, few months. UK Singles Chart don't create any drama like Billboard because it's based on sales only - there's no room for bias remember the time when One Direction were just... 2 copies from #1?

personal bias will (unfortunately) always have an underhand influence in politics, music/showbiz (awards), sports (BCS positions anyone?) etc. people mostly tend to notice when their faves are getting screwed over because of it. How many Taylor Swift and or Rihanna fans were complaining about the new chart rules for R&B + Country genres benefitting their fave?!

I'm not here for bias either, not even if it benefits my faves. Cause that **** will come back and bite them in the ass, I think y'all's have seen that's exactly the case with gaga.

I'm sure bill felt really good schooling the guy who said "kicked to the curb" wrong but for me, it makes him look petty. And yes, because he associates himself with his professional persona on this site, it puts to question the Billboard publication and it's practices.

That's the way the world works. That's why in any professional job (at least in my work in banking), I have all these boundaries and ethics trainings. This is to not tarnish my company because what I do outside work does reflect on my company.

People here don't get that. It is Bill's right to post here. And it's my right to think he is ridiculous for associating his handle with his professional persona. And to make an assumption that he's kind of a lame person.

This! So many people got ****ed over because of the ridiculous rule changes - even people I don't care for. Britney being denied her 1 million+ sales for blackout remains one of my biggest pet peeves against billboard.

Billboard didn't ignore any of their rules. They don't abide by the UK's rules because that's the UK. Gaga and Katy's promo singles were not free downloads. They were automatic, yes, but people still had to pay for them and the price of the songs were then deducted from the album's price. This happens for everyone. Uncle was not a promo single, it was the official second single. Dark Horse and Walking On Air were promo singles. Gaga's second single wasn't going to be DWUW until they changed it. It was going to be Venus, which wasn't a promo single. No "rules" were broken.

And stop acting like Bill was the only person making the rules. They have an entire team of people that figure this **** out.

Why are the Madonna fans so angry about Bill's supposed "bias" towards Gaga? If you pay attention to anything he says, he's a fan on all popstars and he no issue with dragging Gaga when she tweeted that playlist, something you guys like to ignore when claiming he's biased towards Gaga.

Where were you guys crying about "bias" when Harlem Shake went #1 because of the new streaming rules? Or when Wrecking Ball went back to #1 after a popular YouTuber used the song? Oh, that's right, you don't care about bias unless it's supposedly affecting someone you don't like. So transparent.

It's BILLBOARD.COM, they're supposed to talk about what's popular and Gaga was gearing up to release a new album. At any given moment, Billboard is talking about several artists in several articles. I guess there's bias there as well?

You guys claimed Gaga's app downloads were going to count for album sales because of "Bill's bias" and they didn't.

Where's Bill's bias as ARTPOP sits outside the top ten? Surely he'd pull some strings so it'd chart higher, right?
