Lady Gaga.
Don't get me wrong, I like Katy Perry.
I REALLY loved in her in the one of the boys era.
But her songs get really old and boring over a short time (Except unconditionally which didn't deserve to flop)
And her songs are too childish for me and made just for radio.
I like some of her songs, but Gaga definetly is a better artist

That's what happens when people disagree with them, we all have a different opinion.
I used to LOVE Gaga her music was flawless but I cannot stand this messy era anymore, the lyrics are so bad that makes me mad, she had over a year to come up with good lyrics at least, the production is just messy I love her it I'm not supporting this.
Now Katy has a particularly writing style directed to teenagers (and everyone can relate to), PRISM has great lyrics and I do like the production even though it sounds a little bit like teenage dream.
I love both musicians but I think Katy wins this round (ARTPOP vs. PRISM). I'll be looking foward new material to make a final statement tho

Not when she's declining when it comes to critical reviews as well. Another area Katheryn is improving in.

Thr latter part is subjective for your taste. So if I go with mine then I would say ArtPop is the complete opposite of Art and Pop whixh is basically a trash except for Gypsy. TF has only two good song, PF and Paparazzi, TFM has one, BR while BTW is just a mess to ruin your career!

I am so FAB
Check out Im blonde
Im skinny
Im rich
And I'm a little bit of a bitch.
How does that have more substance than any song on PRISM? Sorry to burst your bubble but Gaga doesn't know anything else than writing about sex, drugs and her personal obsession with gays, fame and fashion.

Aphrodite lady
Seashell bikini
Garden panty
VENUS!
Quoting bad lyrics is never going to be a good argument (even though your Katy ones are much better than my example). Stop.

Maybe you should focus more on the Grammy part.

ddd; The Fame wasn't a risk in ANY way and BTW was a risk because of what, like 3 songs that weren't even released as singles?

Is her "lead album" The Fame? Because the word risky is the LAST I would use to describe that album

Huh. I only posted that stuff because you dragged me down so I pulled some inspirational ******** out of my arse to try and pick myself up again... why, don't tell me someone's actually put those vacuous, blatant, pandering, asinine lyrics in a song?

You could've at least used the "Just ask your gay friends their advice / Before you get a spray tan on holiday / In Taipei" line

Not according to Gaga's own website, which posted this statement in 2012.
Quote:
The Born This Way Ball is Lady Gaga’s first tour since the release of her album Born This Way (Streamline/Konlive/Interscope), which has sold nearly 6 million copies worldwide since its release in May 2011.
|
And if you look into Mediatraffic, it sold 5.4m in 2011 and dropped off the year end chart in 2012. So it might have even sold less than TD, by about 200/300k.
But sales aside, Katy still makes better music.

The thing about Katy is that she only has a few good songs on every album, and then the majority of her album is really bad.
The same could be said about Gaga, but to a lesser extent imo.
So I'll go with Gaga.
