This was from Nov 2013, so recent data.

Red has sold 2 million copies outside the US so far, according to Big Machine. Probably shipments but outside the US sales figures can be unreliable.

As you can see Red already her most successful album in International markets.

Red has her popiest singles, so that is expected.

Country Music is not big in the UK. As soon as I heard IKYWT I said to myself, Taylor has just broken the UK market, cos I knew it would smash here. And it did.

I'm so glad for her. But also worried. Cause her change of genre (although Red isn't as pop as its singles make it seem) could hurt her first week sales from now on. Or maybe not. I guess we'll have to wait and see...

Everyone saying on twitter that she will performing but the Grammys account said nothing about this

So, what about Red World Tour ? I think, she won't add any more dates, it's too late. Why do you think she choose just touring London and Berlin ?

I'd rather her debut a little lower and have more longevity than have massive first week sales, but be front loaded tbh.

Yes, I've seen that. But it doesn't really make sense with all the info that has been leaking... And if she wants to make an album different from RED, I can;t imagine she'd go back to the same exact pop producer...

People.com confirmed it, so Grammy's will probably announce later since she's probably going to be one of the biggest performances.

I'd say it's over, and she's starting with a major world tour for LP5.

I think, this is part of the reason why LP5 will do quite well. Two Reasons: 1) Global exposure and 2) changing demographics.

RED's global sales are up internationally over the other LP's and I think the trend will keep up.

And secondly, there is a change happening in the demographics. It used to be just tweens who were the majority of Tay's fans. But the RED era, I believe is changing that. You now have an increased level of older people and males listening in to Taylor. And depending on what collaborations you have on the next album, you might get a whole new different type of crowd, but she'll still keep the tweens but have extra fans of all kinds. So that would be good for Sales.

. As you say, it is the transition.

Well, Max Martin even produced some rock songs once upon a time, so

Different sound is still possible. But i can understand why she wanted to work with him again. One way or another, those 3 songs had the most global impact, we can't deny it. Not only the single sales success, but aıso their music videos' view counts show that. Max Martin is the key to open-up to Europe, at least Taylor thinks so.

I agree. Because it would be a history making moment. She would become the only female artist to have three albums that exceeded 1 million copies. That would be awsome.
