You do realise the only reason it's currently selling so much is because it's a gimmick, right? Whether or not it has a hit is irrelevant to its unorthodox success. It wouldn't be selling as well if Columbia had gone w/ a traditional release.

Wonder which of these will see more longevity. I'd say PRISM is possible due only to the longevity of Teenage Dream and maybe Bangerz if Adore You is a hit. Not sure about Beyonce though, she may peak early without a hit single.

You're right, Prism, as weak as it is, is really outselling ARTPOP, which is not a bad thing, however, you must remember, Prism is discounted on iTunes for months now, while ARTPOP had the discount for one week (1 week), duh, which is having an impact on WW sales as well, but the gap is nothing compared to the gap in the US sales.. Let's also keep in mind, that while Prism is outselling ARTPOP, it's still by a little bit, given almost three weeks advantage and let's face it, it's not a slayage ala BEYONCE, which is out of reach for other pop females.
