Seriously though, I think in most cases it has to do with preferences then actual racism. I've had talk to some people via Grindr who were not interested in a sexual relationship with me, but we are still friends and go out occasionally to places where I can legally go

Anyone who claims that an entire race of people is ugly or unattractive has a lot of prejudice and is most certainly dealing with some form of racism, whether they realize it or not. It may not be entirely their fault. The media projects an image of "the lighter you are, the more inherently beautiful you are" for one.

I have met my fair share of racist white gays and yes, they were undeniably racist because they actually made disgusting racist comments toward me on apps. On the other hand I have met many white gays who thought I was extremely handsome and I've hooked up with quite a few. There are racists in every community.

Bit I digress. I've spoken on this topic so many times, its actually tiring at this point. Do some googling y'all. The proof and information is everywhere.

I get irked by profiles that use more space saying what they don't like than the things they do like. The most common one is "No pic. No chat". So many guys have that. It's funny.

White people are seen as the normal, the standard so If you are a person of colour in America, it is impossible not to notice race. Even if you've never been subject to malicious racism, you know that you are perceived as an outsider to the dominant culture. Even if you didn't want to care about race, race has been made important for you, personally. You've experienced a lot of **** you know is basically invisible to white people because of "just" your skin tone.
