Why would they put Juicy in the song and then just remove him for the single release? It's rude.
It's actually very reasonable. The same way a feature is added to a song to attain support from Urban and Rhythmic stations, it could be removed to attain AC and HAC support.

That and DH is urban influenced which is popular in the U.S so I really don't know if the rest of the world will embrace tbh. I'm sure it'll do fine though.
It gives it that extra UMPH to the song.
