Pretty much anyone who submitted you gotta respect yourself in at least giving the moderator position a shot. I mean even if the applications are deemed "trolling" still that time it took to apply does mean something about your drive/intuition in future things. If not on ATRL, somewhere in the real world

But I strongly believe a lot want to apply simply because they are treating it like a popularity contest or some sort.

Campaigning is not cute. That's probably the best way to land in the Hall of Shame. That and being a desperate troll and wasting our time.

Let me just offer a word to the wise and say that if we select a new bunch, people better have thick skins. The most active new mod will be the target for the pack of wolves to tear apart. It happened to Ella, then me, then Tim, Doc, and now poor Retro. You'll be responsible for 99% of the warnings and thread bans according to users. People will come for your neck in HQ and blogs, probably daily. It's not all fun. You have to deal with all the anger and animosity from pretty much everybody.

You probably expect me to say this but I generally don't get bothered about what people have to say about me, if my actions are justifiable I brush it off.

I have a quick question for the mods, if I switch to ATRL+ and change my username would that be a problem, I've been meaning to change my name for a couple of months

This is so true. The work load is also pretty hefty, at least from my experience as a mod/super-mod and now admin. On the plus side, you get to know people from all over the world and learn to compromise on certain things. It's a commitment though.

The decision is up to the admins and moderators only. You're just wasting precious time campaigning for nothing.
