I don't want to jinx it but I think she has a pretty good chance of winning. Her only competition IMO is Tamar Braxton.
- But lets be real the Grammys tend to be a popularity contest half the time so I think the Grammy is hers to take.
Fun fact: Rih has won a Grammy every year since 2010

Do you think she has a chance at winning best pop duo?
If Tamar wins in one of her other two categories I think Rih will get it. But again I don't want to jinx anything.
Pop duo. Is harder to tell, so I doubt it.
- The competition is tough and Pink has been getting a lot of acclaim this year. Also Blurred Lines is nominated as well and Jay Z is a "Grammy darling" Yeah so I'd be pleasantly surprised

If Rihanna was truly smart she'd take the risk and make R8 heavily reggae influenced. Even if it doesn't sell well if she were to nominate it to the Grammys she would win by default.
- That's literally a free grammy IDK why she doesn't capitalize off two genres like Taylor Swift does country and pop.

I agree. Along with the "free Grammy" I also think that she would get a ton of acclaim. Legitimate reggae hasn't been in the mainstream in a long time. The closest thing in recent years was Shaggy and Sean Paul
