Spin The Music was more filler than quality tho and people just didn't resonate with her new 75% J-pop/25% R&B shared sound. The R&B trend that used to be there in Japan died down a long time ago and she failed to outgrow this period of her career. She'd just need a real re-invention that sticks with people. The material is flawless (as heard on VIVID), but it's still not quite there yet. I'm still counting on her to do the trick with her American breakthrough tho, as I'm totally seeing her having some considerable success with the right material/focus/approach.
SO.UNCOOL, it's not that much of an biggie tho. I just take what happens to be the bottom barrel of my personal preferenced J-pop singers and trash them. Do I listen to her music? YES! Am I aware of her impact in Japan? KINDA! But I say what I gotta say and what is on my mind, because I'd rather be opiniated than hold sth back just because somebody might not like what I've got to say. Namie is also capable of putting out some really enjoyable stuff like WILD or Come, it's just on very, very few occasions that she actually does stuff like that.
Just go with the flow gurl, you're not all positive and cotton-candy either.
You don't have to like her, your entitled to your own opinions. My problem is your constantly shading her for no reason at all and trying to persuade all the new members to think the same about her as you do. If she releases a new song or video and you critque it, okay that's one thing but to unnecessarily refer to her as the "girl with no emotion" is pushing it and you know it. It's funny cause when anyone says anything even remotely negative about Crystal your immediately ready to read them down. Practice what you preach.
& correct, I'm not all positive cotton-candy but I don't throw unnecessary shade the way you do.
But Kuri has literally no impact in Japan. If you want to compare Amuro Namie and her note that Namie consistently releases popular songs while Kuri only has recognition in the more urban/underground scene. She is not "big" in Japan.
Her discography is far from it though. She has tons of BOPS. Candy, Boyfriend Part 2, Girl U Love, How To Say, Sugar Rain, Kirakuni, Ex-boyfriend, Delicious na Kinyoubi, SWEET FRIENDS.
If she was a basic bitch, she'd be a member of AKB48! They (and apparently, you) don't appreciate diversity and unique voices...

CK is a Queen and the most accessible J-pop diva. Her music is the most honest, straight-forward and her personality is down-to-earth, yet she's not the one to **** with when it comes to her musical visions.

I also hated VIVID~
If that isn't the God-given truth!! I've said this time and time again. Koda's only impact on Japan is educating the young folk on how to dress like *****s. She will always be THE true basic b itch and is the devil

Kuri is Crystal Kay's nickname ~
Kuu-chan was extremely popular up until about 2010, idk what you're trying to say in your comment
